Nashville Selects Forward Philip Tomasino 24th Overall

After a remarkable run of 23 picks, the Nashville Predators selected center Philip Tomasino of the Niagara IceDogs. The 6’0” forward will turn 18 at the end of July and slide up the Niagara line-up next season in his third OHL year.

Tomasino scored 34 goals and 72 points in 67 games for Niagara with middle-six minutes including 12 game-winning goals - the most in the Ontario Hockey League. He’s a natural center but can play the wing, too. Tomasino also played for Team Canada at the 2019 U18 World Junior Championships scoring one goal and five points in six games.
