Colton Sissons was called up on March 7th to replace the injured Paul Gaustad as the fourth line center. In those four games, he has scored two goals and an assist and is a plus two. And most importantly perhaps, he has won more than 50% of his faceoffs. He and Colin Wilson have turned the fourth line into a weapon that tests the opposing defense.
Gaustad is in his fourth full season with the Preds after coming over from Buffalo at the Trade Deadline in 2012. He has mostly centered the fourth line and used his stick wizardry in the faceoff circle to rank in the league’s best every year in faceoff percentage.
