Welcome to All-Star Weekend! With a break from games, the NHL celebrates it’s stars and puts on a show for the fans. While P.K. Subban and Pekka Rinne take part in the festivities, the rest of the Nashville Predators are enjoying a break from the action.
When all is said and done – when games with meaning return – the playoffs will come into focus for every team in the NHL. A few teams are already looking to next season. Too many teams lay between them and the hope of a playoff birth. Yet, in the Western Conference, six teams are in contention for two wild-card positions.
