It remains very hard to say one way or the other if the Nashville Predators are an improved team from last season after dropping two in a row to close out their homestand.
Through 11 games and after an important five-game homestand, the Nashville Predators are just kind of hanging around in the mediocre and painfully average middle portion of the NHL with an overall record of 4-5-2 (10 points, 6th in Central Division).
The homestand is important to see if the Predators could create some momentum and stack some wins, something they very rarely did last season when they cratered their season on the way to 68 points.
