The Predators dropped the Ottawa contest in overtime on Thursday. Their second period collapse was rough and the Senators lit up Juuse Saros for goal after goal. It wasn’t pretty, but the boys in gold did salvage a point.
Yakov Trenin, reassigned yesterday to Milwaukee, had not looked out of place on the top line with Filip Forsberg and Ryan Johansen. The kid is a truck, unafraid to throw his weight around, but he also has some soft hands and continues to crash the net like there’s no tomorrow. Trenin was playing better than a majority of the team.
