The Predators’ winning streak came to an end tonight against the Lightning after losing a late lead in the game and falling in overtime thanks to a goal by Tampa’s Yanni Gourde.
This one got off to a lively start. Shortly after Ryan Johansen was robbed by Louis Domingue on the backdoor, the Lightning took a 1-0 lead on a goal by Chris Kunitz. The assist went to Viktor Arvidsson who made a terrible pass to the middle of the ice, right to Kunitz.
But Arvidsson redeemed himself after a rather confusing series of events midway through the period.
