The Nashville Predators returned to Edmonton, where they’ve had some success over the past few years, to face a hot Oilers team which has finally also figured out how to score goals that Connor McDavid didn’t cause.
The Predators entered without Pekka Rinne, who was placed on the injured reserve this morning, leaving Juuse Saros to start. Fan favorite Frédérick Gaudreau also drew into the lineup, in his case in place of Miikka Salomäki. One of these changes went better than the other, as Gaudreau was completely invisible throughout the game.
