Juuse Saros, also known as Little Bear around these parts thanks to his 5' 11'' frame, has had quite the rookie season. In 34 games with the Milwaukee Admirals the 20-year-old has gone 26-7-0 in 34 appearances. During that stretch he has posted the seventh best save percentage (.922) and third best goals allowed average (2.18) among all AHL goalies this season.
The young Finn also made his NHL debut this season back on November 28th against the Buffalo Sabres. He gave up three goals (two via the power play) on 23 shots in what was a 4-1 loss.
