Wyoming secondary coach Curt Mallory reportedly hired as Indiana State head coach

Wyoming’s secondary coach, Curt Mallory has been hired as the head coach of the Indiana State Sycamores.

Mallory had been with Wyoming since the 2015 season, but is returning to the Great Lakes area, where he’s spent all of his college football career.

Mallory’s years as head coach have been less than adequate. His defenses over the last two years have ranked near the bottom of Division I football in categories like passer rating, touchdowns, and completion percentage.

However, his secondary ranked 30th in the country in passing yards per game with 196.9 in 2015, although teams attempted 279 passes (fewest in the nation).
