The Wyoming Cowboys are have matched their most wins since 2011 and are on track to have their most regular seasons wins 1996 when that team won 10 games. With that success head coach Craig Bohl is in talks for a contract extension, according to Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports.
In his third year, Bohl has the Wyoming program on track to win the Mountain Division with an 8-3 record and can win the division and get to nine wins if they beat New Mexico on the road. If there is extreme chaos a Cotton Bowl berth might be in the mix, but that is a long shot.
