Workouts intensify for Colts' Andrew Luck

He's not practicing yet, but Luck assures he's making progress.

He felt strong enough Wednesday to run some sprints known as “gassers” with teammates, but Andrew Luck is not practicing just yet.

Aside from acknowledging his workouts are intensifying, everything else sounds about the same as the Indianapolis Colts quarterback continues his tedious rehabilitation from a lacerated kidney and partially torn abdominal muscle.

Luck repeated what he’s said in past weeks on Wednesday, that he’s “getting better” each week and no timetable is certain for his return. He was asked about the latter, with reference to owner Jim Irsay’s Sunday comments that the team hoped Luck could be back for next week’s home game against Houston, but if not he should be ready for the following week at Miami.
