Mountain West football media days get going on Tuesday and Wednesday in Las Vegas this week, so what is going to be on the docket?
One thing that for sure will be brought up is conference expansion as the Big 12 has finally stated that they are moving forward with looking at more teams.
Commissioner Craig Thompson will be asked questions about conference make up, but he will say probably nothing new that the league has positioned itself as one of the premier non-power leagues and will continue to do that within the league.
Coaches rarely make the decisions, or are even asked, about conference makeup but there will be a lot of questions toward Colorado State’s Mike Bobo and their players about getting into the Big 12.
