Vikings select Alexander Mattison in the 3rd round.

Alexander Mattison continues the increasing line of productive Boise State running backs turning into NFL draft picks. He is the 8th running back ever drafted out of Boise State, the fourth of the past five BSU starting RBs to be drafted, and the third straight to be drafted as a junior.

An interesting note is that out of that trio who declared early, Mattison had the lowest two-year starter stats, but ended up being drafted highest. His third round selection eclipses the both Jay Aajyi and Jeremy McNichols, who both were selected in the fifth round.

Anyway, Alexander was taken 102nd overall (3rd round) by the Minnesota Vikings.
