Washington State tried to make it tough on Valentine Izundu who wanted to leave Pullman, Washington, but head coach Ernie Kent was making this difficult by blocking a transfer.
Kent lightened up and lifted the restrictions, and that led to Izundo to look at Boise State, UNLV and also San Diego State, but he has decided to head South and finish his career with the Aztecs.
Izundo is eligible right away and San Diego State will be his third collegiate stop. He spent his first two years close to home and attended the University of Houston and then he has spent the past season with the Cougars.
