The UNLV Runnin' Rebels went to UC Riverside on Saturday evening and came away with a predictable victory, but the Highlanders didn't make it easy.
The Rebs took care of business against the UC Riverside Highlanders Saturday evening. Predictably, UNLV had the advantage the entire game. Give credit to the Highlanders, early in the second half they made the Rebels sweat a little more.
UNLV came out fast paced and defensive minded in the first half. Their offensive runs were punctuated by Derrick Jones, Jr.'s power dunks. Meanwhile, stand out Patrick McCaw led the Runnin' Rebs with 17 points.
