UNLV head coach Tony Sanchez talks Wyoming

In this week’s press conference, coach Tony Sanchez talked about the team’s upcoming game against Wyoming. Sitting at 3-6, the team is looking to secure their fourth win and remain bowl eligible, but with the Cowboys coming to town that’s easier said then done. At 7-2, Wyoming has their eyes on one of the New Years bowls, and a loss to a struggling Rebel squad could squander those dreams.

While Wyoming has bigger ambitions this season, it was only a year ago that this same team only won 2 games, including their season finale against UNLV. Asked about the loss and whether or not they were looking forward to getting revenge, wide receiver Devonte Boyd (who rolled his ankle in the previous match up) stated that he was indeed looking forward to this weekend’s game because he “didn’t get a chance to help out the team like he wanted”.
