UNLV Coach Chambers Resigns

UNLV Baseball Coach Tim Chambers Steps Down

It was announced by the Athletics Department on December 18th that Tim Chambers had stepped down as head coach of the UNLV baseball program. He had been on indefinite medical leave since early July and Associate Head Coach Stan Stolte has been named acting head coach.

Coach Chambers had a record of 157-132 and was entering his fifth season at UNLV. His best season as coach had to be 2014 when the Rebels won the regular season title and a NCAA bid with one of the best pitching staffs in the country.
