UNLV Rebels baseball will take center stage at Wrigley Field in Chicago before the game four World Series matchup between the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians.
Hall of Fame pitcher and current UNLV baseball coach Greg Maddux has been invited to throw out the first pitch Saturday night. Maddux spent a total of ten seasons of his legendary 23 year career with the Cubs. While in Chicago he was twice named an All-Star and won the Cy Young Award in 1992. The Cubs retired the #31 jersey in 2009 in honor of Maddux and Chicago legend Ferguson Jenkins.
