At 3-7, Jim Tomsula is starting to face questions about his standing for 2016.
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - 49ers head coach Jim Tomsula said on Wednesday he has not had conversations with the team's upper management about his future beyond this season.
"We’re in a performance based business. And all of us in it get it," Tomsula said. "So I don’t think or work that way. (Our) long term goal is Sunday (against the Cardinals). That’s just where I stay."
Tomsula's team is coming off a lethargic performance Sunday in the 29-13 loss in Seattle, where the defense allowed a franchise record 209 yards rushing and 255 all-purpose yards to backup running back Thomas Rawls.
