Three-star recruit Marcus Shaver passes on Boise State

Shaver, a 6-1 point guard by the way of Phoenix, is a three-star recruit from the class of 2017. He also received offers from New Mexico State, New Mexico, Santa Clara, Hawaii and others.

The 5th-ranked player from Arizona for 2017, ESPN highlights Shaver’s versatility, slashing and jump-shooting in his official scouting report. This past season at Shadow Mountain High School, Shaver led his team to a 27-0 record and an Arizona state championship - his third in four years.
