EAST RUTHERFORD, New Jersey - San Francisco 49ers left tackle Joe Staley is active for Sunday night's game against the New York Giants after missing practice this week.
Staley sustained a knee injury in last week's loss to the Packers, but played in all of the team's 50 offensive snaps. He missed the practice Wednesday and Thursday of this week, but returned Friday and was listed as 'limited.'
Saturday, the 49ers released cornerback Shareece Wright, who never made it to the active roster after signing with San Francisco in the spring.
