Peyton Manning could never beat Steve Spurrier's Florida Gators in the four years he started against them.
Steve Spurrier made his mark as the winningest coach in Florida and South Carolina football history, and now he has a chance to make his mark in the College Football Hall of Fame.
Spurrier resigned last season from South Carolina, but boasted a 228-89-2 record after coaching at Duke, Florida, and South Carolina, and winning six SEC championships titles and one National Championship appearance with Florida. In his playing days, he took home the 1966 Heisman Trophy.
