After a year filled with adversity for both programs, Saturday’s championship game capped off an unlikely fairytale season for the upstart Spartans and ended a ghoulish nightmare of a season for the favored Broncos.
San Jose State heads to Arizona with hopes of an undefeated season. Boise State decided to forego a bowl game snapping a streak of 18 consecutive bowl appearances. Mercifully, the 2020 season is over for the Broncos.
