Few NFL teams have as exhaustively searched for improvements to the roster as the Seahawks during the Pete Carroll and John Schneider era. Could that aggression put the Seahawks in a buyer's mentality with the approaching NFL trade deadline?
The NFL's trade deadline is nine days away (November 3) and given Seattle's current 3-4 record as well as the creativity that Seahawks general manager John Schneider has shown in building (and re-building) the roster, it could be a date worth remembering.
In part due to the complicated salary structures and teams' general unwillingness to give up draft picks, trades are relatively rare in the NFL - at least in comparison to Major League Baseball and the National Basketball Association.
