San Diego State wins Mountain West title, tops Wyoming

Wyoming put on their best Cindrella performance against first place San Diego State, but fell to the Aztecs 73-61.
The win gives San Diego State (14-1 in Conference play), the outright Mountain West regular-season title.

Josh Adams single-handily kept Wyoming within striking distance, with 27 points (9-for14) and clutch baskets in the second half. The pesky home Cowboys inched closer and closer, but San Diego State used a 14-5 run within the last six minutes to walk out of Laramie with a W.

Guard Trey Kell led the way for SDSU, with 24 points (4-for-8 from 3-pt) while big man Winston Shepard chipped in 14 points.
