San Diego State football: RB Donnel Pumphrey Might Be Healthy Against Hawaii

The junior running back left the Fresno State game early with a high-ankle sprain, but early reports have Pumphrey available for Saturday's game in Honolulu.

During this past game against Fresno State, the San Diego State running game showed life for the first time in 2015. Donnel Pumphrey looked like he was picking up from the 2014 campaign, rushing for 124 yards on 23 carries and providing one touchdown in the victory. However, Pumphrey left the game in the second half due to a high ankle sprain and didn’t return.

The San Diego Union-Tribune is reporting that Pumphrey was jogging a bit during practices earlier this week and might be active for Saturday's game in Honolulu.
