Cross Hue Jackson's name off the 49ers' list of potential head coaches.
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - After interviewing former Giants coach Tom Coughlin on Thursday, the 49ers have not scheduled interviews for any new candidates for their open head coaching position, according to reports from CSN Bay Area and the NFL Network.
That means San Francisco's 10-day coaching search could be coming to a close with the team nearing a decision.
But perhaps their top candidate, former Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson, is off the market.
The NFL Network reports that Jackson will become the next head coach of the Cleveland Browns.
