After a 34-9 loss to Nevada on Thursday night, there numerous reports that head coach Gary Anderson and Utah State have parted ways a second time. Gary Anderson coached at Utah State from 2009-2012 and led the Aggies to an 11-2 season in 2011, and coached the final season in the WAC conference before leaving for Wisconsin after the 2012 season. Brett McMurphy confirmed the news.
Anderson’s first stint in 2009 didn’t start off well as the Aggies went 4-8. 2010 was another 4-8 season with losses to the likes of Oklahoma, Boise State, Hawaii, Nevada, and Louisiana Tech.
