The UNLV Rebels had a commanding lead in the Mountain West Baseball standings heading into this weekend. However, this weekend against the Wolfpack of UNR was going to be the ultimate test as both are very good ball clubs.
Game 1 (Friday, April 8th) vs Nevada
This game started off with a Wolfpack sac fly to score the first run in the top of the 1st. Then in the 2nd, C Eric Bigani singled scoring two to go up 2-1. The Rebels did not stop there as they scored four runs after a RBI triple from LF Austin Kryszczuk, scoring CF Rylan Charles, then Kryszczuk scored after a wild pitch, and a two-run homer from 2B Edarian Williams scoring 1B Hank Zeisler.
