The first college football poll is out for the preseason with USA TODAY’s coaches poll (insert snarky joke about this being the SID poll).
At the top of the poll is Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma and then Florida State. Then as we scan and scan and scan to the end of the poll we find that there are no Mountain West teams in this ranking.
Despite San Diego State riding a 10-game winning streak, returning double-digit starters and then also have the returning Mountain West offensive, defensive and special teams player from 2015 back they are just receiving votes.
