After finishing the regular season with a whimper, the Cowboys look to snap their losing streak and win their first bowl game since 2009. They have Josh Allen back under center after deploying Nick Smith for the last two weeks. And boy, were those a fun two weeks.
Smith competed fairly well against Fresno, but the stat sheet won’t show just how lifeless the Cowboys offense looked for the first 57 minutes of the game. The Smith-led Cowboys also laid down against previously winless San Jose State.
