The Carolina Panthers made a move on Monday to bolster their secondary by signing veteran cornerback Cortland Finnegan.

The Carolina Panthers decided to add some depth to their secondary by signing cornerback Cortland Finnegan, according to the team's site. He was one of three cornerbacks the Panthers worked out on Friday. Finnegan will be entering his 10th year in the NFL after spending six years with the Tennessee Titans, two years with the St. Louis Rams and last year with the Miami Dolphins.

Finnegan's best years came in 2008 and 2009 when he had 10 interceptions, two touchdowns and 133 total tackles and was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2008.
