Indiana is 9-7 since going back to previous lineup style.
The Indiana Pacers’ season of transition has required a system switch back to smashmouth from smallball.
So far, the results have been mixed.
Since 19-year-old rookie forward Myles Turner was inserted into the starting lineup and Paul George was shifted to small forward, the Pacers have gone 9-7. They’re 32-29 and seventh in the Eastern Conference, just one game ahead of Detroit but also a half-game behind Charlotte and one game behind Atlanta.
Granted, the Pacers going back to a bigger lineup isn’t because their size is so imposing.
