Pacers Push For Playoff Spot

Tuesday's win over Boston begins finishing stretch of 11 of 16 games at home for seventh-place team.

It was an imperative, especially after how the Indiana Pacers were annihilated in Atlanta two earlier.

Their playoff push intensifies as the Pacers began a closing stretch of 11 out of 16 at home with a 103-98 victory over the Boston Celtics Tuesday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The Pacers (36-31) have won four of five, but the loss was their ugliest of the season, a 29-point blowout to the Hawks on Sunday. The lopsided outcome, on the latter half of a back-to-back trip that began with a win in Denver, had point guard George Hill suggesting afterward that players with their own agendas needed to play more together.
