The Mountain West had a quieter Sunday afternoon in Orlando after a number of fairly impressive debuts Saturday.
It was a difficult afternoon for Marvelle Harris, the former Fresno State guard and reigning Mountain West player of the year.
After a productive summer league debut, Harris’ shot faded in the New York Knicks’ 74-48 blowout loss to the Miami Heat. It was the second consecutive game that the Knicks failed to score 50 points.
Harris finished 3-11 from the field - including 1-6 from deep - and tallied seven points in 26 minutes of playing time Saturday.
