Selection Sunday is here and the Mountain West is in an unfamiliar position.
Two-seeded Fresno State (25-9, 73 RPI) clinched its first NCAA Tournament bid since 2001 with a 68-63 win over San Diego State, but the rest of the conference heads into the deciding day with a number of questions.
"I think if we won (Saturday), all doubt would be removed," San Diego State head coach Steve Fisher explained to the media after the Mountain West final.
