New Mexico-San Diego State called off

The New Mexico Lobos and San Diego State Aztecs series has been called off due to New Mexico not having enough scholarship players to play the contests.

The Mountain West Conference put into place a requirement of each team needing to have seven scholarship players in order to play games. New Mexico had eight scholarship players during their contest with Fresno State on Saturday.

Although it has yet to be announced publicly who the other players are that have opted out of the season for UNM, the Lobos have had Keith McGee already opt out of the season back on January 13th.
