New Mexico Basketball Recruiting: Lobos Gets Their Guy In Connor MacDougall Three Years Later

Connor MacDougall, a 6'8'' power forward/center, announces that he will transfer to the University of New Mexico, one of the original teams to recruit him.

Connor MacDougall's college basketball career has been less than ideal thus far to say the least. He was once ranked by Rivals as the eleventh-best center in his high school class (2014) and fielded scholarship offers from New Mexico, Colorado, California, Utah, Boise State, and Oregon State, among others. He eventually chose Arizona State over New Mexico in 2012. His experience with the Sun Devils was troubled: he only appeared in limited action in his one season with Arizona State, playing a total of 23 minutes across six games.
