Nevada’s Grant Sherfield named Mountain West Player of the Week

Nevada Wolf Pack guard Grant Sherfield was named the Mountain West Player of the Week Tuesday, the conference announced.

Congratulations to @gsherfield5 on being named @MountainWest Player of the Week!

Sherfield averaged 20.5 ppg, 9.25 apg with two double-doubles as Nevada went 4-0 with sweeps of UNLV and Boise State!

He joins Desmond Cambridge as the only Pack players to earn the award this season.

In the four games last week — two home sweeps against UNLV and Boise State — Sherfield averaged 20.
