Nevada’s Carson Strong named Mountain West Offensive Player of Week

After a career performance en route to a 37-34 thrilling victory over Wyoming, Nevada redshirt sophomore quarterback Carson Strong was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week Monday.

Strong completed 39-of-52 (75.0 percent) passes to nine different receivers, chucking the pigskin for 420 yards and four touchdowns — all career highs. His 420 passing yards against Wyoming are the 10th-most in a single game in the FBS this season while his 39 completions were the 3rd-most.

Strong currently has a streak of 203 consecutive passes without an interception, the most in the FBS and the third-most in Mountain West History.
