We are officially 24 hours away from the Nevada Wolf Pack football team kicking off their home opener at Mackay Stadium against the Texas State Bobcats of the Sun Belt conference. This will be the first of two back-to-back afternoon contests to begin the 2022 home slate.
Texas State has yet to make a bowl since joining the FBS prior to the 2012 season, when they joined the WAC before joining the Sun Belt just a season later. The Bobcats are led by fourth-year head coach Jake Spavital, who’s gone 9-27 in his first three seasons with the program.
