Nevada Football: Wolf Pack defeat San Jose State in an overtime thriller.

The Wolf Pack outlasts the Spartans 37-34 on Senior Day in Reno to become bowl eligible.

On Senior Day at Mackey Stadium, the Wolf Pack and the Spartans played in one of the most entertaining games in conference play this season and in this contest, the Wolf Pack defeated a very tough and talented San Jose State Spartans team in overtime 37-34. The win marks the first Wolf Pack victory on Senior Day since 2011 and also, the win makes Nevada bowl eligible for the tenth time in 11 seasons.

The scoring started when Nevada quarterback Tyler Stewart (16 for 26 174 yards 3 touchdowns; seven rushes for 33 yards) found wide receiver Jerico Richardson (five catches 43 yards one touchdown) for a five-yard touchdown pass to give the Wolf Pack a 7-0 lead early in the game.
