The Nevada Wolf Pack football team looked to Sin City to pick up a commitment for its next recruiting class.
On Friday night, the Wolf Pack received a verbal commitment from quarterback Jamaal Evans as part of Nevada's 2017 recruiting class. Evans is a 6-foot-2 205-pound dual threat quarterback who plays for Centennial High School in Las Vegas which is one of the top teams in the state. In his junior year, which was also his first year as a varsity starter, Evans completed 56 percent of his passes, threw 1,807 yards and threw 20 touchdowns.
