Nevada football has been projected to finish second in the West Division in the Mountain West’s Preseason Poll for 2020, announced today by the conference.
San Diego State was picked first in the West Division after receiving 19 of the 21 total first-place votes. The Wolf Pack received the other two first-place votes — ahead of of Hawai`i (third) and Fresno State (fourth). San José State (fifth) with UNLV placing last.
This is the third time since joining the Mountain West in 2012 where Nevada was picked to finish second, the first since 2016.
