Jordan Caroline lead the team with 22 points while Cameron Oliver chipped in with 19 points and 11 rebounds as the top-seeded Nevada Wolf Pack thumped the eighth-seeded Utah State Aggies 83-69 in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West conference tournament.
With the win, the Wolf Pack’s winning streak has extended to seven games and now they will face-off against the winner of the Fresno State/New Mexico game on Friday night.
Nevada started the game on the right track on offense as they jumped out to a 11-2 lead over the Aggies. That lead then ballooned up to a 25-9 lead at the midway point of the first half.
