Twenty-year-old pro averaged 10.3 points in 60 games.
His first year in the NBA didn’t start as planned, but Indiana Pacers forward/center Myles Turner proved to be a positive addition after missing 20 games to recover from surgery to repair a chip fracture in his left thumb.
The 11th overall selection from a year ago averaged 10.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 60 regular-season games to earn Thursday’s selection to the NBA’s All-Rookie Second Team in a vote of sportswriters and broadcasters in the U.S. and Canada.
“It’s an incredible honor to be recognized as part of the All-Rookie team,” Turner said in a Pacers news release.
