Since there still isn't much 2019 movement at the moment outside of new offers, this gives an opportunity to take a look at which teams had the best position groups in the MWC for the 2018 class.
Quarterbacks: Hawaii
Running backs: Nevada/Boise State
Wide Receivers: Boise State
Tight Ends: Boise State
Offensive Line: San Jose State
Defensive Ends: Nevada/Boise State
Defensive Tackles: Fresno State
Linebackers: Boise State
Cornerbacks: Boise State
Safeties: Colorado State
Kickers: San Diego State
A few notes about how decisions were made:
- Teams were rewarded for having multiple players at a position (the sum of the talents weighed greater than an individual in some cases)
- A few positions were too close to call so they were made into ties.
