This season has been different for Utah State. They are averaging about 35 points per game and leading the nation in takeaways. However, the real difference in Wells’ mind has been something different. The team is being player-led, instead of energy and motivation having to be created by the coaching staff. Wells changed the way team captains were voted on, moving it up to spring and spreading it out over every position.
