It came down to the final week of the season to determine who would host the Mountain West title game between San Diego State and Air Force. The Aztecs were hosting Nevada and did their part in defeating the Wolf Pack to finish 8-0 in conference play, but Air Force stumbled to New Mexico on the road to finish with a 6-2 conference record.
The Falcons loss means that the Aztecs will host their first-ever conference title game within the Mountain West this Saturday at 7:30 p.
