The end of May basically signals the end of the Mountain West Conference sports season. Under normal circumstances, the MWC champions may still be playing in the NCAA baseball and softball tournaments or just concluded. However, no MWC team has competed in any sport in over two months. Regardless, the start of the summer months is when we review each sport by listing the regular season and conference champion.
Last year we built on simply recapping each champion by crowning one school the conference champion of all sports from this past season based on some uncomplicated scoring system.
